About The Position

Customers choose Wegmans for the helpful people in their stores and the freshest ingredients possible. As a team member in one of the perishable departments (which may include Bakery, Cheese, Deli, Meat, Produce, Seafood, and more), you will educate customers on great-tasting products and healthy meal options. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide incredible service by greeting customers, answering questions, and offering product suggestions
• Maintain department cleanliness in accordance with company food safety guidelines
• Properly store, rotate and stock perishable items to ensure freshness
