Perioperative Clinical Nurse Manager – RN – Endoscopy - Full-time - Mid-Shift (12PM-8PM) In this role, you'll oversee the daily clinical operations in the in-patient Endoscopy Department. Seize this opportunity to become a transformational leader via shared governance. Mentor, supervise and evaluate the team to reach their full potential and inspire their continued professional growth. Develop and manage budgets, manage resource allocation and scheduling. Regularly assess unit operations and identify process improvement to enhance the patient experience. Excel as a change agent, advancing initiatives focused on enhancing quality and performance throughout the unit, caring for a variety of patient populations ranging from pediatrics to adults. This is a full-time mid shift (Monday to Friday - 12PM-8PM) position located at NYP/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • Current New York State RN license
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, perioperative/procedural experience
  • Clinical expertise within field or specialty
  • Demonstrated leadership competencies, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of performance improvement principles

Nice To Haves

  • Previous leadership and collaborative experience
  • Master's Degree in Nursing preferred
