Proactive in ensuring adequate and functional equipment for safe patient care.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
BLS certification required.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in bedside patient care (long-term or acute health facility) preferred.

Responsibilities

Safely transport patients, ensuring their comfort and security.
Apply basic principles of sterilization, maintain sterile supplies, and ensure proper stock rotation.
Prepare, clean, and maintain OR equipment, ensuring functionality.
Coordinate equipment requisitions, liaise with vendors, and manage repairs/replacements.
Collaborate closely with the surgical team, assisting with supply inventory, delivering specimens and blood products, and maintaining an organized OR suite and support areas.
Provide coverage for Anesthesia Technician duties, including cleaning anesthesia equipment.
