Requirements

Knowledge and skills to provide age-appropriate patient care.
Proactive in ensuring adequate and functional equipment for safe patient care.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
BLS certification required.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in bedside patient care (long-term or acute health facility) preferred.

Responsibilities

Patient Transport: Safely transport patients, ensuring their comfort and security.
Sterilization & Supply Management: Apply basic principles of sterilization, maintain sterile supplies, and ensure proper stock rotation.
OR Equipment Management: Prepare, clean, and maintain OR equipment, ensuring functionality. Coordinate equipment requisitions, liaise with vendors, and manage repairs/replacements.
Surgical Team Support: Collaborate closely with the surgical team, assisting with supply inventory, delivering specimens and blood products, and maintaining an organized OR suite and support areas.
Anesthesia Support: Provide coverage for Anesthesia Technician duties, including cleaning anesthesia equipment.
