About The Position

A Perfusion Clinical Manager is responsible for overseeing clinical operations and ensuring high standards of patient care. The Perfusion Clinical Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing clinical operations, ensuring high standards of patient care, and leading a team of Perfusionist. They will maintain a positive and productive working relationship with the medical staff. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements. Conduct and provide performance evaluations and provide coaching and mentoring to staff. Manage the day-to-day operations of clinical service, including staffing, scheduling and patient care.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Perfusion Technology or Bachelor of Science degree with a certificate in Perfusion Technology from an accredited cardiovascular perfusion education program and seven years of progressive perfusion experience required.
  • Certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion required.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
