Join our team as a dynamic Teaching Artist for our Performing Arts summer camps, designed for a diverse range of ages. In this role, you'll create and implement engaging lesson plans for theater, dance, or music programs, prepare and organize materials, manage program supplies, assist with administrative tasks as needed, and ensure cleanliness and order in performance spaces. We are currently seeking Teaching Artists with a strong music background, music direction experience, and proficient piano skills. Duties and responsibilities, as required by business necessity may be added, deleted or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing. Scheduling and shift assignments and work location may be changed at any time, as required by business necessity.

Requirements

  • Experience in a performing arts discipline (theater, dance, music, etc.) is required.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficient piano skills

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as a teaching artist, drama/music/dance instructor, classroom teacher, or similar role is highly desirable.
  • Background in music, experience in music direction
