The YMCA of the North Shore is hiring Performing Arts Instructors for our Specialty Creative Arts Camps this summer! We are especially seeking instructors with experience or interest in: 🎭 Theatre | 🎪 Circus Arts | 🎩 Magic | 😂 Comedy | 🎬 Film & Media | 🎶 Music Guided by the YMCA’s core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility, Creative Arts Instructors help create a fun, inclusive environment where participants can explore creativity, build confidence, and develop new skills. What You’ll Do Lead or assist engaging, age-appropriate creative arts classes and workshops Support skill-building, creativity, and self-expression in a positive environment Prepare materials and assist with setup and cleanup of creative spaces Ensure a safe, organized, and welcoming program environment Communicate and collaborate with program staff and families Why Work for the Y? Requirements
- Experience instructing or assisting in creative or performing arts programs preferred
- Experience working with children or youth in a structured setting strongly preferred
- Ability to demonstrate and teach artistic techniques at an age-appropriate level
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage participants positively
- Must obtain and maintain CPR and First Aid certifications
- Flexible availability, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends as scheduled
