A Performance Tools Technician is a professional responsible for the maintenance, calibration, and operation of tools and equipment used to measure and improve the performance of various systems.

Requirements

• Technical degree or certification in a related field.
• Experience with performance tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using and maintaining performance measurement tools.
• Knowledge of calibration standards and procedures.
• Technical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Familiarity with inventory and parts management systems.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair various types of performance tools and equipment.
• Perform routine calibrations and tests to ensure tools are functioning accurately.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions and performance issues.
• Maintain detailed records of service, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Schedule and execute regular maintenance to prevent downtime and ensure optimal tool performance.
• Provide support and respond to inquiries from internal or external customers regarding tool performance.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures when handling tools and equipment.
• Order and replace parts as necessary to keep tools in working order.
