About The Position

Wolters Kluwer DXG U.S., Inc. seeks Performance Test Engineering - Product Engineer IV in Riverwoods, IL. Job Description: Lead the Performance Engineering team and drive the effort to build, execute analyze and report on Performance Tests for the software solutions developed by Development Teams. Design the test strategy planning and publishing actionable insights and making recommendation to Development Teams. Drive and lead the team including Development, Quality and Project Management with outcome based planning, while doing work breakdown for a Non Functional requirements, Script Reviews and provide feedback on estimations, implementation. Partner with Development Lead to understand the Non Functional requirements, and help identify performance issues and bottlenecks. Partner with Product Managers and share actionable insights like response time, throughput and user experience. Partner with Technology and Quality leadership and be an advocate of technical vision, and champion the cause of good Performance Testing practices; and Build effective relationships within our matrixed organization with other business units in order to support change requests, solution design, testing and software releases.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering, information Technology, Information Systems, or related field plus 7 years of experience as a Test Engineer, Software Engineer, Product Engineer, Software Quality Assurance Analyst, Software Quality Engineer or related occupation.
  • 7 years of experience in the following skills: Performance testing
  • Automation and quality engineering
  • JMeter
  • Azure or AWS
  • Performance optimization for web applications
  • CI/CD pipelines
  • Dynatrace, New Relic, Grafana, or App Dynamics
  • Telecommuting permitted.
  • Domestic and international travel required up to 10%.
  • 40 hours/week.

Responsibilities
