About The Position

The Performance & Planning Analyst Advisor job provides thought leadership in the development and implementation of data reporting strategies to drive data informed decision making across the Food NA Sales organization. As a recognized subject matter expert in the field, this job transforms data into compelling narratives that highlight opportunities, risks, and root causes. This job partners closely with Senior Sales leaders to understand their needs, identify innovative opportunities, share trending analysis and partner with commercial teams to build growth strategy reporting for our Food business. This job presents complex data insights through experienced understanding of Power BI dashboarding to effectively deliver business outcomes while playing a strategic role in encouraging a data driven culture and improving the value of data for business growth and innovation.

Requirements

  • Minimum requirement of 6 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 10 years or more of relevant experience.
  • Experience creating and utilizing Data Visualization through tools such as Excel, Power BI, and/or Tableau.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience building self-serve semantic layers and enterprise metrics standardization.
  • Understanding of Machine Learning and Modeling
  • Advanced understanding of Visualization tools (Looker Studio, Qlik, C3.ai, others)

Responsibilities

  • STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP: Develops and implements highly complex strategy to support business objectives, providing insights, a future vision and plan and recommendations to senior management.
  • STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT: Cultivates positive relationships with key partners to understand their data needs, provides insights and finds improvement opportunities, and ensures reporting solutions address key objectives and are strategically integrated into business processes.
  • SALES DOMAIN KNOWLEDGE: Understands sales funnel, lead-to-cash, CRM objects to drive growth insights through reporting and expanding metrics in pipeline reviews and business growth planning.
  • COMMUNICATION & STORYTELLING: Lead Leadership-ready narratives with clear directions and actions through visualizations and executive summaries.
  • BUSINESS ACUMEN: Advanced understanding of business strategies with the ability to tie to sales strategy and growth planning.
  • CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT: Leads ongoing efforts to improve data analysis and reporting practices and cultivates a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the organization.
  • REPORTING & VISUALIZATION: Creates comprehensive reports and dashboards, ensures data visualizations effectively communicate insights and are user friendly, timely and aligned with business needs.
  • LITERACY: Builds and develops central initiatives to mature data consumption and analytics capabilities.
  • TECHNOLOGY & TOOL SELECTION: Identifies, recommends and implements analytics and reporting tools to ensure the team has the most effective technology for data processing, visualization, and reporting.
