Teachable is a SaaS platform that serves educators who publish and monetize online courses, content, and coaching. We also have a B2B function, serving companies that use software to optimize their employee onboarding and training. We are seeking a Performance Marketing Lead to lead our paid user acquisition efforts across B2C and lead acquisition for B2B. In an increasingly complex SaaS environment, you will operate as a high-impact IC, owning all paid marketing channels. This role’s responsibilities will include search engine marketing (SEM / PPC), social media marketing (SMM), budget management, lead generation, keyword research, measuring data and analytics, working cross functionally with Sales and Product Marketing, and more. A key focus will be leveraging AI and new tooling to drive efficiency and scale. This role reports directly to the Senior Lead of Acquisition.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of paid marketing experience
  • 3 years of experience owning Paid Search (SEM)
  • 3 years of experience owning Paid Social (SMM)
  • Experience owning large marketing budgets (8 figures annually)
  • Strong experience in both B2C and B2B acquisition
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Confident in pushing back on "bad ideas" or low-impact requests through data-backed reasoning

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in SaaS is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Direct strategy and execution of all paid acquisition across B2C and B2B
  • Work cross functionally with Sales, Product Marketing, Brand & Content, and more
  • Set and manage monthly and quarterly budgets and goals for paid marketing
  • Own SEM, SMM, OTT, Reddit, and all other paid marketing channels
  • Implement and oversee marketing automation and advanced tooling to streamline workflows
  • A/B test new channels, ad types, messaging/targeting, and more
  • Be data-driven, keeping us honest to monthly and quarterly goals for paid growth
