About The Position

Responsibilities Analyze plant performance KPI’s as part of Asset Operations work process and AOPS methodology. Ensure daily and weekly KPI’s are entered using red/green visual indicators and any red/off target metric has a discussion on plan to close the gap. Monitor and analyze the ABT reliability performance and encourage proactive identification of equipment issues. Ensure production losses are properly evaluated and categorized, and that true root causes are identified. Escalate to proper SME resources to determine adequate solutions when additional support is needed. Utilize and facilitate root cause analysis methodologies when necessary. Participate and contribute towards improvement idea generation to close gaps in performance. Support the Team Specialist (TS) in the development of advanced troubleshooting guides. Owns the Area Resource Plan (ARP) for the Area Business Team to track progress and prioritization of improvement project status and completion. Provide input to the ABE regarding project needs that may affect production planning. Ensure the ABT’s Area Resource Plan targets are reviewed, aligned and prioritized with the Business Resource Plan’s objectives. Facilitates the evaluation, prioritization, and execution of proposed improvement ideas. Facilitates the screening of improvement ideas submitted via the Idea Tool. Participate in ABT project execution as a Project Development Leader (PDL) or perform project related tasks as defined with the project manager. Support the successful application of site policies, management system compliance and applicable EHS standards at the site and within the ABT. Be an influential leader in demonstrating strong commitment to safety and compliance. Qualifications 4 year engineering degree Strong leadership, coaching and communication skills Technical excellence High degree of ownership Desire to engage with the operating team Preferred experiences for the Performance Engineer role include: Familiarity with process automation system Team facilitation and leadership skills Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma knowledge Knowledgeable in Corteva Engineering Practices (EP) or equivalent Industry RAGAGEP
