About The Position

Peraton is hiring a Performance Data Process Engineer, to join our Cyber Mission business unit in Jessup, MD. As a process engineer on our team, you will support one of the largest enterprise-wide engineering contracts within the Intelligence Community. This is a full-time position requiring 1880 hours of support per year; and work is performed at a customer location. As a Performance Data Process Engineer on our team, you will ensure mission management data sourced in reports adheres to data assurance and governance policies; complies with evolving access, retention and purge policies; and is as complete, accurate and compliant as possible. In addition, you will: Proactively look for compliance issues and data tagging irregularities sourced in reports Respond to internally and externally reported compliance issues found in reports Perform root cause analysis Enable solutions to ensure data integrity and quality control of smart data tags in performance data Document investigative solutions and support process improvement efforts Track and report remediation solutions, as well as work with external partners to fix identified issues Validate and ensure accurate and compliant data is available to the Enterprise #AJCM

Requirements

  • Fifteen (15) years of total experience with Process Improvement on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
  • Experience is to include, within the past ten (10) years, five (5) years of experience in facilitation, training, methodology development and evaluation, process engineering across all phases of acquisition identifying best practices, change management, business management techniques, organizational development, activity and data modeling, or information system development methods and practices.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or education from an accredited college or university is required.
  • A High School diploma and four years of additional experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Familiarity with the SIGINT System
  • Familiarity with SIGINT Authorities and associated limitations
  • Position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with customer data compliance policy
  • Familiarity with sourcing (e.g., CAMKEYs, Data Tagging, Warehouses, etc.)
  • Familiarity with how reporting is performed (e.g. LACs, COIs, Purge, etc.)
  • Familiarity with ABACUS
  • Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
  • Strong deep troubleshooting and/or problem-solving experience, especially with root cause analysis
  • Strong oral, written and interpersonal communications skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team setting to complete assigned tasks on schedule
  • Flexible/easily adaptable within a dynamic work environment
