About The Position

As Performance and Planning Manager at Centrus Energy, you’ll be the keeper of the plan and the storyteller behind the data—turning complex project metrics into clear insights for leadership. You’ll lead the team responsible for performance reporting and the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), ensuring timelines, costs, and forecasts stay aligned with mission-critical objectives. This role blends technical mastery, leadership, and big-picture thinking to keep high-stakes projects on track, on budget, and audit-ready. You’ll lead the central project controls and reporting function, owning performance metrics, schedule integrity, and forecasting across the project lifecycle. This includes overseeing development and maintenance of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), managing the Primavera P6 database, mentoring schedulers, and partnering with Control Account Managers and project leads to manage schedule risk, conduct critical path analysis, and perform rigorous schedule quality checks. You’ll ensure monthly project controls processes are executed flawlessly, delivering accurate, timely performance insights to senior leadership and keeping projects aligned with cost, schedule, and mission objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Accounting, Finance, or Business
  • 12+ years of experience in project planning, scheduling, and project controls
  • Expert proficiency with Primavera P6 and scheduling database administration
  • Experience using Acumen Fuse for schedule health assessments
  • Experience with Cobra or similar cost-processing tools
  • Strong working knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Experience in cost engineering and cost control
  • Must possess or have the ability to obtain and maintain a “Q” Clearance

  • Expert-level command of project controls tools such as P6, Acumen Fuse, MS Project, Cobra, and related analytics platforms
  • A proven leadership presence—able to coach teams, enforce schedule discipline, and drive accountability while fostering collaboration
  • Currently holding an active Q-level security clearance
