With three thriving corporate boutiques and a rapidly expanding franchise network nationwide, we are building scalable systems to support growth across both corporate and franchised locations. The Performance Analyst / FP&A Analyst is responsible for supporting and evolving French Florist’s performance management and reporting infrastructure across corporate and franchise locations. This role partners closely with Finance and Operations to help build scorecards, dashboards, and analytical processes that provide visibility into financial and operational performance. This position is ideal for someone early in their FP&A or analytics career who is excited to take ownership of reporting, contribute to forecasting and planning, and grow alongside a scaling, multi-location business.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in FP&A, performance analytics, business analytics, or operational analysis
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, Analytics, or a related field
  • Experience with plan vs. actual reporting, variance analysis, and basic forecasting
  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills; experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) is a plus
  • Ability to clearly communicate insights to non-finance stakeholders
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and maintenance of performance scorecards across corporate boutiques, franchise locations, and company-level metrics
  • Assist in building plan vs. actual reporting for revenue, labor, COGS, marketing spend, and operating expenses
  • Help define reporting cadence, templates, and documentation for weekly, monthly, and quarterly reviews
  • Contribute to variance analysis by identifying drivers of over- and under-performance
  • Analyze boutique-level P&Ls, labor utilization, revenue drivers, and cost performance
  • Support system-wide trend analysis and benchmarking across locations
  • Assist in evaluating performance drivers such as pricing, product mix, labor, seasonality, and marketing investments
  • Prepare analytical insights and performance summaries for leadership and operational partners
  • Build and maintain performance dashboards using Excel/Google Sheets and BI tools
  • Support the development of benchmarking and comparative reporting across locations
  • Help document KPI definitions and reporting standards to ensure consistency
  • Assist with automating or streamlining reporting processes where possible
  • Partner with Finance and Operations to translate insights into operational actions
  • Support Franchise Operations by providing clear, actionable reporting
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Supply Chain, and other teams to ensure performance insights inform decision-making
  • Support elements of annual planning, rolling forecasts, and scenario modeling
  • Assist with forecasting revenue, labor, COGS, and expenses based on historical trends and operational drivers
  • Help ensure planning assumptions are clearly documented and aligned across teams
