The Percussion Assistant Student Manager supports the logistical and operational needs of percussion across ensembles in Music Organizations at St. Olaf College. Working under the direction of the Percussion Student Manager and the Associate Director of Music Organizations, this role assists with the preparation, setup, and organization of percussion instruments and equipment for rehearsals, concerts, and other ensemble activities. The Assistant Student Manager helps coordinate student crews for stage setup and teardown, assists with equipment movement, and helps maintain the organization and readiness of the percussion inventory and storage areas. This position also assists with preparing percussion equipment prior to the start of the academic year and helps anticipate and troubleshoot logistical needs related to percussion setup and performance requirements.
