Duties: Create and manage PERCO parts inventory – communicate with service managers, technicians, service writers/parts associates and manufacturers to develop a functional parts inventory. Place stock orders utilizing any available discounts such as seasonal order writing programs and promotional discounts Manage PO’s. Run open PO reports regularly to make sure PO’s are being reconciled in a timely manner. Check behind service writer/parts associates to ensure proper PO procedures. Set up new vendors as needed Schedule and/or physically do all annual inventory counts at each PERCO location Work to find alternative solutions on parts with extended lead times Manage Service Writer/Parts Associates Work with vendors to negotiate purchasing discounts Ensure your team is adequately utilizing national accounts, corporate vendors or negotiated contracts when processing orders Push outside parts sales for brands PERCO is a dealer for (Morooka, TerraMac, Prinoth, etc) Work to lower freights costs by keeping a good inventory in hopes of limiting NDA orders and making sure to charge freight back to customers when applicable. Maintain clean, organized and safe parts areas Travel to other PERCO locations regularly to perform parts counts and inventory inspections QualificationsPreferred Qualifications: Rental Equipment parts experience a plus - willing to train the right candidate. Travel required. Supervisory Experience a plus. Excellent full benefits package.
