Per Diem Virtual Substitute Teacher - New York
About The Position

For more than 26 years, we have provided on-site educational services in hospitals, helping these school-age patients continue their education during treatment and reintegrate successfully into the classroom. With a network of over 200 educators, we strive to make a positive impact for generations to come. We are currently seeking a passionate and creative Virtual 1:1 Teacher to support adolescent students enrolled in New York–based Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), including Astor and Four Winds. This is a per diem, as-needed position, offering up to 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
Requirements
- B.A/B.S. degree from an accredited institution
- Active New York State teaching license
- Comfortable working with adolescent students
- Available for same-day, on-call assignments per diem
- Strong organizational skills
- Understanding of subject matter relevant to student need
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others
