In this position you will assume responsibility for answering all incoming telephone calls and interdepartmental calls, and routing them to the appropriate department or person. You are expected to greet all visitors to the facility in a professional and pleasant manner. You will be required to take messages when appropriate and conduct all interactions, either by telephone or in person, in a professional manner. Familiarity with a hospital telephone system and ability to work with varied populations in a professional manner is required. You must be able to respond to emergency and crisis situations quickly and efficiently and be able to read and interpret the fire alarm board. Requirements

  • High School graduate or GED certification required.
  • Excellent customer service and phone skills
  • Previous experience working in a medical office preferred
