About The Position
Regional School District No. 20 is seeking qualified applicants for a Per Diem Substitute School Security Personnel - Armed, effective immediately. The School Security Personnel is responsible for monitoring the safety of the students, staff, and visitors using the school building/facilities.
Requirements
- Must be or have been a qualified Law Enforcement Officer under LEOSA (Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act) and have served as a law enforcement officer for an aggregate of 10 years or more.
- During the most recent 12 - month period, has met, at the expense of the individual, the standards for qualification in firearms training for active Law Enforcement Officers.
- Must not be prohibited by federal or state law from receiving a firearm.
