About The Position

As a Registered Nurse, you’ll provide direct, hands-on care to residents, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring overall health. You’ll lead and collaborate with a supportive care team to ensure each resident receives personalized, high-quality care. Primary Responsibilities: 🩺 What You’ll Do: Resident Care & Clinical Support As a key member of our care team, you’ll provide hands-on nursing care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing specialized procedures like wound care. You'll regularly assess resident health, respond to changes in condition, and collaborate with clinical staff to ensure personalized, high-quality care. 🤝 Team Collaboration & Leadership You’ll work closely with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and promote the well-being of our residents. You’ll also guide and support nursing assistants and other team members, offering mentorship and supervision to ensure excellent service delivery. 📝 Documentation & Communication Keep accurate and timely records of the care provided, resident responses, and any changes in condition. You’ll also handle admission and discharge procedures and maintain up-to-date medical records in line with facility policies and healthcare regulations. ✅ Safety, Compliance & Professionalism Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant environment by following infection control, safety, and regulatory protocols. Stay current with ongoing training and certifications, and uphold the highest standards of ethics, confidentiality, and respect for resident rights.

Requirements

  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred, but we’ll consider an Associate degree if paired with relevant experience.
  • Licensure: Must hold a current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Certifications: CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required to ensure participant safety.
  • Experience with Seniors: Prior experience working with elderly individuals or in geriatric care is highly valued.
  • Care Setting Experience: Background in skilled nursing or long-term care environments is preferred.
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift and move up to 35 pounds independently.
