To assist director, supervisor in the organization and daily function of the Infusion Center in accordance with established federal, state, and accreditation standards, regulations and Center policies and procedures. To assist the Hematology Oncology Providers and Nurse Supervisor in overseeing patient care activities in the Infusion Center. To maintain high standard of safety for the patient and staff members. Patient liaison for care rendered. Monitor stock levels, outdated supplies and equipment needs and report to Nurse Supervisor/Clinic Administrator. Requirements

  • RN required education
  • RN License
  • CPR/BLS
  • ALS or willing to obtain
  • 3+ years RN experience in an Infusion/Chemo setting
  • Basic computer skills
  • Proven clear communication skills
  • Ability to work 6 shifts per month
  • Ability to work 4 shifts per year before or after clinic holidays, with 2 shifts related to a summer holiday and 2 shifts related to a winter holiday or as needed based on department needs

Nice To Haves

  • BSN
  • Oncology Certified Nurse certificate or willing to obtain certification within 12 months of employment
  • Ambulatory Infusion Center setting
