Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school for Radiography Services
- New York State Radiological Technologist license
- 5 years of progressive experience
Nice To Haves
- Previous supervisory experience
- Registry in more than one modality
Responsibilities
- Supervise the Diagnostic Radiology Department and oversee technical and non-technical staff.
- Organize staff and equipment to deliver accurate imaging results, including radiographs, scans, and special procedures.
- Manage scheduling, patient flow, and room assignments.
- Monitor equipment performance and maintain inventory control.
- Provide guidance on complex technical issues and assist with staff training.
- Prepare reports, collect productivity data, and communicate with radiologists to ensure optimal patient care.
- Participate in hiring, training, evaluations, and other supervisory responsibilities.
- This position is a per-diem role with varying hours. Schedule will be made on a monthly basis based on the needs of the department and employee availability.
