About The Position

This is a per diem position designed for coverage when staff call out or take time off. Hours are 8:00am-4:30pm mainly Monday-Friday, with potential Saturday options at the Seattle Main Campus. Applies the knowledge and skill necessary to implement age-appropriate play and activity programs that provide normalization, facilitate adjustment and meet the emotional and developmental needs of hospitalized children and families.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in child development, education, or a related field; other combination of education and experience that would provide similar competency may be considered.
• Paid experience working with children.
• Experience in planning and carrying out activities for children.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with infants, toddlers, school-age children and adolescents in a therapeutic setting.
