About The Position

The Per Diem Pharmacist will have the opportunity to apply your clinical expertise by evaluating and interpreting medication orders, compounding, and dispensing prescriptions in accordance with legal and professional standards. You will play a critical role in identifying, preventing, and resolving medication-related issues to ensure safe, effective, and individualized patient care. Through the application of evidence-based protocols, you will promote clinically sound and cost-effective drug therapy, contributing to improved patient outcomes and advancing the standard of pharmaceutical care. Pharmacy Location: This role covers shifts at Baylor Scott & White Emergency Hospitals at our Murphy and Rockwall locations in the Dallas area. Schedule: Provides PTO coverage for existing pharmacists. Shifts are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM About the Facility: Baylor Scott & White Emergency Hospitals in Murphy and Rockwall are neighborhood hospitals created in partnership with Emerus, the nation’s leader in small-format hospitals. Requirements

  • ACPE-accredited pharmacy degree (PharmD preferred)
  • Active Texas state pharmacist license in good standing

Responsibilities
