About The Position

A well-established private anesthesia group in Northern New Jersey is seeking an experienced, board-certified Anesthesiologist to join its collaborative team on a per diem basis. This position offers a flexible schedule, exceptional work-life balance, and the opportunity to deliver high-quality patient care in a dynamic outpatient setting. As a per diem Anesthesiologist, you will provide anesthesia care for a variety of outpatient surgical procedures, including orthopedics, gastrointestinal, sedation for pain management, and general surgery cases. The role emphasizes patient safety, teamwork, and clinical excellence, with no call, nights, or weekends required, allowing you to maintain a balanced lifestyle while contributing to a respected practice. The compensation of $2,200 per day with an 8-hour guarantee with malpractice paid.

Requirements

• Active New Jersey medical license.
• Board certification in Anesthesiology.
• Proficiency in performing regional blocks and managing anesthesia for diverse surgical cases.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to collaborative teamwork.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced outpatient setting while maintaining high standards of care.

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia for outpatient procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the perioperative process.
• Perform regional blocks and conduct thorough preoperative evaluations to assess patient needs and risks.
• Provide postoperative care, monitoring patient recovery and addressing any immediate post-surgical needs.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and medical staff to optimize patient outcomes in a team-oriented environment.
• Maintain accurate and compliant patient records in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Stay informed about advancements in anesthesia techniques, protocols, and best practices to deliver cutting-edge care.
