About The Position

This role is per diem, however there is a 12–16-week training/orientation period that will require full-time hours. JOB DESCRIPTION: This position supports the daily operation of the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine divisions. The Specimen Processing Technician I performs clerical, technical, and sample processing for the Clinical testing areas. Staff triage multiple sample types for the Surgical Pathology, Cytology, Microbiology, Cytogenetics, and Flow Cytometry.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Laboratory experience preferred
