The Pepper Coach will guide employees through the learning process to enhance overall work performance. Through coaching and development, they will increase employee’s versatility, expertise and enthusiasm via hands-on training, motivational support and encouragement. The Pepper Coach will effectively accelerate new employee integration into the workplace via new employee orientation and related curriculums. Your day-to-day may consist of: Instruct and coach employees on proper product assembly, quality techniques, and ergonomic practices; assist temporary staff with PPE, job locations, and expectations. Observe and document employee performance (pepper placement, capping), reviewing results and recommending improvements with supervisors. Coordinate line staffing and employee rotation, including managing breaks for both permanent and temporary/off-shift workers. Restock PPE equipment and smocks before the end of each shift. Communicate effectively with line leaders and departments; perform duties as a General Assembler. Available Shift(s): 1st Shift (6AM-2PM) Monday-Friday. This role works in a manufacturing environment with potential exposure to loud noises, strong odors, temperature fluctuations, moving machinery, wet or humid conditions, hazardous chemicals, high or confined areas, extreme temperatures, and vibration throughout various facility areas. This role also regularly engages in prolonged standing, walking, communicating, and sensory tasks throughout each shift, while frequently handling objects, climbing, balancing, and performing various physical movements such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling as part of job duties. The use of close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus is required.
