About The Position

Fix It 24/7 is a growing HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical home-services company in the Denver Metro—and we’re looking for a People & Talent Specialist who is passionate about finding exceptional talent and delivering an outstanding onboarding experience. This role is the heartbeat of our hiring process. You will champion recruiting, onboarding, and culture—helping ensure every new hire feels supported, welcomed, and set up for long-term success. This position will report directly to the General Manager and assist the Director and Talent Acquisition, development, and retention

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of recruiting and onboarding experience (home services experience a plus)
  • Strong communicator who is professional, organized, and people-focused
  • Ability to manage multiple roles and priorities simultaneously
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, high-growth environment
  • Someone who genuinely loves people and delivers legendary service internally

Responsibilities

  • Source, screen, and hire top talent for HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, CSR, Dispatch, and Support roles
  • Post jobs, manage applicant flow, and keep pipelines full
  • Build strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and trade schools
  • Coordinate interviews, assessments, and scheduling
  • Track recruiting KPIs and drive performance-based results
  • Assist with recruiting for selected positions
  • Facilitate Walk-In Wednesday interview events
  • Ensure hiring managers provide timely feedback on interviews
  • Coordinate and conduct confirmation calls for on-site interviews
  • Pre-Employment Manage letters and pre-employment checks, including monitoring and follow-ups
  • Conduct pre-start calls to ensure new hires arrive prepared with the required documents
  • Run a smooth, warm, and organized onboarding process
  • Prepare new hire paperwork, background checks, and onboarding packets
  • Facilitate Day 1 orientation and ensure every new hire hits the ground running confident
  • Coordinate with IT, Operations, and Leadership for setups and training
  • Be the culture ambassador—create a best-in-class new hire experience
  • Willingness to undergo background and drug tests in accordance with state and federal law
