About The Position

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a People & Talent Operations Manager in the United States. This role offers the opportunity to design and scale a modern, automated People function in a fast-growing, global, and fully remote environment. You will lead the end-to-end design of people systems, optimize HR workflows, and drive operational excellence across recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement. The role combines strategic influence with hands-on execution, including automation of HR processes, implementation of global compliance measures, and enabling managers to lead effectively. You will partner closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to enhance people experience, increase operational efficiency, and shape the organization’s culture. The position is ideal for someone who thrives in a tech-enabled, high-growth environment and enjoys building scalable, data-driven people operations from the ground up.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in People Operations, HR, or Talent Management within tech startups or high-growth, VC-backed environments.
  • Proven experience building and automating HR processes and configuring HR systems, with a hands-on approach to tools and workflows.
  • Strong commercial mindset and ability to partner cross-functionally with Finance, Leadership, and executive teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to influence without formal authority and operate with high ownership and minimal supervision.
  • Experience managing global teams and navigating multi-jurisdictional HR compliance.
  • Comfortable with data, HRIS platforms, and building scalable, tech-enabled solutions for people operations.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and execution-driven with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Build, optimize, and automate HR systems and workflows for onboarding, offboarding, performance, and compliance.
  • Design scalable recruitment processes for a global, remote workforce, partnering with hiring managers on role design and structured hiring decisions.
  • Own performance management cycles, compensation frameworks, and engagement initiatives, providing actionable insights and structured recommendations.
  • Ensure global employment and contractor compliance across multiple jurisdictions and manage relationships with payroll, tax, and employment vendors.
  • Enable managers with tools, guidance, and training to lead teams effectively, acting as a trusted advisor on people strategy and scaling challenges.
  • Drive adoption of HR technology and data-driven processes to reduce manual work and improve operational efficiency.
