About The Position

Develop and teach math curriculum to high school students during summer enrichment program. Sometimes, in collaboration with subject matter coordinator, be able to develop summer course curriculum in math for high school students. Math instructors should be able to work with students with varying levels of math knowledge, be able to facilitate hands on math activities and review math skills to prepare students for their upcoming school year. This position is part-time, 28.125%. Terminal appointment, will be from July 13, 2026, through July 31, 2026. This position is fully on-site.

Requirements

• One year teaching Mathematics

Nice To Haves

• One year teaching high school students
• Certification in high school or secondary math instruction preferred

Responsibilities

• Serves as an initial point of contact for students as it relates to specific course or series content and expectations
• Develop hands-on activities
• Assists with the development of instructional design and curriculum relevant to a course of instruction under the direction of an academic staff or faculty member
• Facilitates classroom and/or laboratory instruction for one or more courses including assessment of student performance
