About The Position
Develop and teach English curriculum to high school students. Grade coursework as appropriate. Develop curriculum in collaboration with PEOPLE Educational Content Specialist. This position is part-time, 47%. Terminal appointment, will be from June 22, 2026, through July 10, 2026. This position is fully on-site.
Requirements
- One year teaching English content
- Bachelor's Degree Required by June 1, 2026
Nice To Haves
- One year teaching high school students
- Master's Degree in related field preferred
Responsibilities
- Serves as an initial point of contact for students as it relates to specific course or series content and expectations
- Assists with the development of instructional design and curriculum relevant to a course of instruction under the direction of an academic staff or faculty member
- Facilitates classroom and/or laboratory instruction for one or more courses including assessment of student performance
- Develop hands-on activities
- Arrange field trips as appropriate
