PEOPLE Summer University Academic Assessment Instructor
About The Position
Develop and teach ACT and College Readiness curriculum to high school students during a summer enrichment program. Grade coursework as appropriate. Develop curriculum in collaboration with PEOPLE Educational Content Specialist. This position is part-time and a terminal appointment. Expected work will be from June 22, 2026, through July 10, 2026. Expected work schedule will be: Orientation and Planning: June 22 - 26 PSU 2 Instruction Dates: Mon June 29 – Thu July 2 (4 instructional days) PSU 3 Instruction Dates: Mon July 6 – Fri July 10 (5 instructional days) Class Time: 11:20 am – 12:20 pm This position is fully on-site.
Requirements
- One year teaching college readiness content
- Bachelor's Degree Required by June 01, 2026

Responsibilities
- Facilitates classroom and/or laboratory instruction for one or more courses including assessment of student performance
- Develop hands-on activities
- Serves as an initial point of contact for students as it relates to specific course or series content and expectations
- Develop hands-on activities
- Assists with the development of instructional design and curriculum relevant to a course of instruction under the direction of an academic staff or faculty member
