Under the guidance and direction of the People Services Director, the People Services Generalist is responsible for enhancing department functions by planning, implementing and developing training, onboarding, and employee orientation programs, the administration of employee benefits, payroll administration, and answer employee questions regarding pay, benefits, policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Education: High school diploma, GED or combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• enhancing department functions by planning, implementing and developing training, onboarding, and employee orientation programs
• administration of employee benefits
• payroll administration
• answer employee questions regarding pay, benefits, policies and procedures
• Implements human resources programs by providing human resources services, including but not limited to: Health and welfare benefits Training and development Records management Safety and Health Employee relations and retention AA/EEO compliance
