About The Position

We're looking for a People Programs & Operations specialist to own the systems, processes, and programs that make the employee lifecycle work across recruiting, hiring and onboarding to performance, development, compensation and compliance. This is a true ownership role in a quickly scaling startup. You'll design, execute and scale key People team programs and operations that create a differentiated culture and ensure we scale successfully. You'll partner directly with leadership and operate with significant autonomy. If you've built this before at a high-growth tech company and found it energizing - not overwhelming - this is the role.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in People Ops or HR Operations at a tech company, ideally one that was growing faster than it was ready for
  • Series B–E high-growth startup experience - you know what it means to build under pressure and iterate fast
  • Focused on operational excellence and differentiated thinking
  • Rippling power user - you know the system deeply and can get the most out of it
  • You've built a performance cycle from scratch and know what to simplify
  • Data-driven, calm under ambiguity, and genuinely invested in the employee experience - not just the box checker

Responsibilities

  • People systems: Rippling, Ashby, 15Five, Checkr, 15Five, Oyster - data integrity, automation, reporting, integrations
  • Process design and optimization: document end-to-end processes and continually improve
  • Automation and AI- first building: utilize modern tools for designing and scaling
  • Performance programs: review cycles end-to-end, calibration, leveling, feedback
  • Onboarding & offboarding: structured, compliant, and excellent employee experiences
  • Comp & benefits ops: variable pay, benchmarking, pay equity, open enrollment
  • Compliance: multi-state, international, I-9, required trainings, audits
