About The Position

The People Partner is the backbone of our People infrastructure, owning the systems, processes, and partnerships that ensure payroll, benefits, performance, and engagement programs run smoothly and accurately. This role directly impacts employee trust, manager effectiveness, and operational excellence. You will be a go-to partner for employees and leaders alike, ensuring that People operations are not only functional and compliant, but also responsive, thoughtful, and human, especially during periods of growth and change.

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in HR, People Operations, or related HR operations role.
  • Strong organization and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple workflows.
  • Comfortable with HR systems; experience with Rippling or similar platforms preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented approach to problem solving.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage people operations across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, documentation, and day-one readiness.
  • Serve as the operational owner for payroll, benefits, and 401(k) administration, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in partnership with Finance and external vendors.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with federal, state, and local employment requirements related to payroll, benefits, and employee records.
  • Act as the primary owner of Rippling, maintaining data integrity, workflows, integrations, permissions, and overall system health.
  • Own the execution and functionality of performance cycles, including system configuration, timelines, approvals, and manager support.
  • Partner on employee engagement initiatives, including engagement surveys, reporting, and follow-through on action plans.
  • Manage complex People issues and system integrations with speed, sound judgment, and a strong sense of accountability.
  • Support managers and leaders by clarifying priorities, providing structure, and keeping People initiatives moving forward.
  • Support recruiting for select roles, including offer approvals, coordination, and ensuring a strong candidate experience.
  • Act as a highly responsive point of contact for employee questions, executive needs, and time-sensitive People matters.
