About The Position

We are seeking a proactive and high-impact People Operations Specialist to strengthen operational excellence and frontline support within the People function. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on ownership, problem-solving, and process improvement, while providing practical guidance and support to a global, remote team. You will act as a key operator within the People team, managing day-to-day HR processes, maintaining systems, and driving scalable workflows that increase efficiency. The role offers the chance to influence People strategy, optimize operations, and contribute to a fast-moving, high-growth environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working autonomously in a dynamic, remote-first setting.

Requirements

  • Candidates should bring strong operational HR experience, technical proficiency, and excellent judgment in supporting a remote, multicultural workforce.
  • 5+ years of HR / People experience, including 3+ years in a startup or tech environment.
  • Experience supporting a global, remote-first team of 100+ employees.
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms (HiBob or similar) and performance management tools (Leapsome or equivalent).
  • Strong operational judgment, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Notion, Slack, Google Workspace).
  • Ability to translate business priorities into practical People solutions.
  • High integrity and discretion when handling sensitive employee information.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, low-process environment with high autonomy.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for People-related questions and issues across the company.
  • Co-own People Operations initiatives from diagnosis to resolution, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and follow-through.
  • Maintain HRIS data integrity, workflows, and lifecycle events, ensuring systems like HiBob remain accurate.
  • Manage employee onboarding, performance cycles, and performance management tools such as Leapsome.
  • Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and create self-service resources to simplify processes for team members.
  • Identify inefficiencies, gaps, and bottlenecks in People processes and implement scalable solutions.
  • Support leadership with People analytics, ad-hoc projects, and HR business partner initiatives.
