About The Position

As we scale, we are looking for a People Operations Manager to ensure our people systems, processes, and day-to-day experience meet that same standard. This role sits at the intersection of operations, people strategy, compliance, and accounting. You will own core People functions end-to-end and partner closely with leadership to create an environment where everyone can do their best work.

Responsibilities

  • Own new hire onboarding and offboarding workflows, including I-9 and W-4 completion, payroll setup, benefits enrollment, access management, and required compliance trainings
  • Help manage visa documentation processes and ensure ongoing compliance where applicable
  • Manage our HRIS, payroll systems, benefits platforms, and reporting tools
  • Partner closely with Finance and Accounting to ensure accurate payroll, tax filings, audits, and compliance reporting such as EEO-1, ACA, and pay data
  • Ensure clean integrations between HR systems and accounting tools
  • Maintain Mirage’s employee handbook and create or update policies related to PTO, holidays, FMLA, and leave programs
  • Ensure policies are clear, accurate, and easy for employees to understand
  • Design and run programs across the employee lifecycle, including training, surveys, and development initiatives
  • Serve as a trusted day-to-day resource for employees, handling questions with care, clarity, and discretion
  • Partner with managers and leaders to ensure people issues are handled consistently, thoughtfully, and in a legally sound way
