Location: Van Nuys, CA (Hybrid). This position requires regular on site presence. No exceptions. Compensation: $72,300.00 - $88,300.00 per annum; Eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 2 to 4 years of Human Resources, administrative, or project coordination experience.
  • Strong administrative and project coordination skills.
  • Knowledge of HR generalist practices preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
  • Ability to operate designated technology devices and programs.
  • Ability to work in the designated office and its environment as well as indoor and outdoor environments within airports, including airside facilities, landside facilities, and terminal buildings.
  • Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing with internal and external stakeholders in a variety of small and large group settings.
  • If needed, must have a reasonable space to work from home/remotely with appropriate office set up.
  • Ability to work extended hours and in a flex schedule to meet the demands of the position.
  • Able to comply with any and all safety requirements necessary to perform the job safely.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary People Operations contact for employees and managers, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Support employee relations matters, including responding to employee inquiries, assisting with investigations, and escalating issues as appropriate.
  • Administer employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, job changes, promotions, and offboarding.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Maintain employee records and personnel files in accordance with recordkeeping requirements.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to support workforce needs and People initiatives.
  • Support audits, reporting, and compliance-related activities.
  • Contribute to a positive employee experience through responsive, professional support.
  • Provide administrative and project coordination support for HR initiatives led by the CPO, including policy updates, process improvements, and organizational projects.
  • Track project timelines, deliverables, and internal coordination needs.
  • Assist the CPO with scheduling, meeting coordination, preparation of materials, and follow-up on action items.
  • Help manage internal communications and documentation related to HR initiatives.
  • Maintain HR templates, policies, internal resources, and departmental documentation.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and materials for leadership discussions.
  • Coordinate HR meetings, internal communications, and cross-department collaboration related to HR initiatives.
  • Support vendor coordination, program logistics, and other operational tasks that support HR department effectiveness.
  • Help ensure HR processes, documents, and internal resources are organized and accessible for the HR team.
