The People Operations Associate (Contractor) provides administrative support for People Operations initiatives by executing defined HR operational tasks such as data entry, document organization, and report generation. This role focuses on maintaining accurate employee records and supporting compliance-related activities through structured, repeatable deliverables. The People Operations associate works independently to complete agreed-upon project deliverables in accordance with applicable requirements and timelines, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and operational efficiency across HR systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1–3 years of experience providing HR or administrative support
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management
  • Experience handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Strong experience with HRIS platforms and digital employee record systems
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and meet agreed-upon deadlines
  • Clear written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Review onboarding documentation for completeness and consistency against provided checklists and requirements
  • Perform manual data entry and data validation in designated HR systems and trackers
  • Organize, upload, and maintain electronic employee records in accordance with document retention guidelines
  • Identify data inconsistencies or missing information and flag issues for review
  • Generate standard reports from HR systems to support audits, compliance reviews, and internal reporting needs
  • Support defined HR operations projects such as:
  • Utilize HR platforms such as Sapling, Rippling, and Workday solely for execution of deliverables
  • Provide periodic progress updates and deliverable completion timelines to the designated People Ops point of contact
