About The Position

Montage Big Sky is seeking a dynamic and service-driven People & Housing Supervisor to lead our associate housing and transportation programs while providing key support to the People Department. This role blends operational oversight with human resources support, ensuring a seamless and enriching experience for our associates both at work and at home. The ideal candidate is highly organized, empathetic, and solutions-oriented, with a passion for creating a positive associate experience. This individual will manage housing logistics, transportation coordination, and contribute to associate life initiatives, onboarding, and administrative support.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required.
  • 2–5 years of experience in Human Resources, Housing Management, or Property Management.
  • 1–2 years of supervisory or management experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to relate to individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to manage complex associate relations with discretion and professionalism.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Flexibility of hours and willingness to work off hours as needed including holidays and weekends
  • Must be able to sit at a desk for up to 5 hours per day.
  • Walking and standing required throughout the remainder of the workday.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. frequently.
  • Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, hearing, and visual acuity.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a luxury hotel or club environment preferred.
  • Experience with StarRez and Workday preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee year-round and seasonal housing programs for associates, ensuring comfort, safety, and compliance.
  • Secure housing through partnerships with property managers and private owners; negotiate leases within budget and scope.
  • Maintain housing software systems (e.g., StarRez); run reports and ensure data accuracy.
  • Partner with the People & Housing Coordinator to assess associate needs, manage placements, and communicate housing options and costs.
  • Arrange utility hookups, manage payments, and oversee financial reconciliation of rent, leases, and utilities.
  • Conduct room inspections, track maintenance issues, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks when needed.
  • Enforce housing policies, quiet hours, and emergency procedures; respond to after-hours lockouts and urgent calls.
  • Coordinate transportation logistics, including airport shuttles and daily routes; address associate concerns and vendor issues.
  • Drive company vehicle for pick-ups/drop-offs as needed.
  • Maintain strong relationships with third-party transportation providers and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Provide administrative support to the People Department, including onboarding, associate relations, and wellness initiatives.
  • Assist with communication forms, associate life programming, and general HR office duties.
  • Ensure timely entry of new hires into property management systems.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold HR protocols, policies, and employment law compliance (FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, etc.).
  • Build relationships within the community to support associate housing and life efforts.
