About The Position

The People Generalist is a key member of the People team, partnering with leaders and employees across the U.S. while owning end-to-end recruiting and core people operations, including payroll and benefits. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across the full employee lifecycle, combining strategic partnership with hands-on execution. You’ll thrive here if you’re practical, proactive, and comfortable navigating a dynamic environment with strong judgment and a solutions-oriented mindset. As part of a lean team, you’ll have real ownership and the opportunity to shape and scale people practices This is a hands-on role within a small team where team members support each other and contribute across different areas as needed.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in HR, including at least 2 years as an HR Business Partner, with experience in payroll and benefits.
  • Recruiting hands-on experience required, including strong full-cycle ownership of the hiring process.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and work effectively across functions and levels.
  • Leveraging AI tools and new technologies in day-to-day work to improve efficiency and decision-making.
  • Data-driven and analytical, with the ability to turn insights into practical actions.
  • Highly independent, with strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Curious, adaptable, and action-oriented, with a strong desire to learn, move quickly, and get things done.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using compensation benchmarking tools and applying market data to compensation decisions - an advantage
  • Experience with Greenhouse ATS, LinkedIn Talent, and Google Workspace strongly preferred- an advantage

Responsibilities

  • Partner with leaders on performance, development, team effectiveness, employee relations, and organizational changes.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to support strong people's decisions and consistent manager practices.
  • Drive core People processes (e.g., performance reviews, compensation reviews, employee engagement surveys and action planning).
  • Use data and insights to inform decisions around engagement, retention, and team effectiveness.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, and global People teams.
  • Support career leveling and role clarity across the organization.
  • Own full-cycle, hands-on recruiting including sourcing, interviewing, and coordinating processes through Greenhouse.
  • Partner with hiring managers on role definition, interview design, and hiring decisions.
  • Ensure a high-quality, fair, and efficient candidate experience.
  • Improve hiring processes to drive better quality and speed.
  • Support payroll and benefits administration (including open enrollment and 401k).
  • Work closely
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance.
  • Own onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a smooth and consistent employee experience.
