Team Overview Our People Experience (PX) team leads PowerSchool’s human-resources function, equipping and encouraging PowerSchoolers to reach their potential while driving business results. The PX team manages the organization’s global workforce infrastructure; supports the overall employee experience; and attracts, develops, and retains talent. Responsibilities PX Business Partners help align the organization’s people strategy with our overall business strategy. They partner with senior leadership through specialized knowledge that helps create policies and programs in line with our goals and objectives. The People Experience Business Partner supports core people processes and helps deliver a positive employee experience across designated teams. This role provides day‑to‑day HR support, coordinates programs, and partners with senior PX team members to ensure smooth execution of people-related activities. While not yet operating as a strategic advisor, this role contributes to meaningful people initiatives, ensures accurate process administration, and strengthens employee engagement through effective communication, coordination, and problem‑solving.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant and related work experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
  • Travel occasionally, up to 5-10%, for key moments such as team summits, training, conferences, etc., with increased frequency during peak periods based on business demands.
  • Experience coordinating HR programs or supporting HR operations preferred.
  • Foundational understanding of HR processes (onboarding, performance, employee relations basics).
  • Ability to learn HRIS and analytics tools; comfort running standard reports.
  • Awareness of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to build relationships and provide helpful, timely support.
  • Comfortable working in dynamic, ambiguous environments with guidance.
  • Curious, eager to grow, and open to feedback.
  • Detail‑oriented, reliable, and proactive in solving problems.
  • Collaborative and committed to delivering a positive employee experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the execution of HR processes such as onboarding, performance cycles, engagement programs, and data updates.
  • Help gather information for workforce planning or organizational updates under guidance from senior PXBPs.
  • Respond to employee questions and direct them to appropriate resources.
  • Support engagement, recognition, and inclusion initiatives through logistics, coordination, and communications.
  • Coordinate communications and training materials for change initiatives led by senior PXBPs.
  • Help monitor adoption and gather feedback from employees.
  • Partner with Learning & Development to schedule sessions, manage attendance, and track completion.
  • Support career development resources by helping gather data or employee feedback.
  • Assist in administering performance management tools and reminders.
  • Reinforce company values by helping prepare culture‑related content, resources, or events.
  • Run basic reports from HRIS systems and update dashboards as requested.
  • Maintain accuracy of people data and support metrics tracking (e.g., turnover, engagement, headcount).
  • Document employee relations cases and assist with scheduling, follow‑up, and policy lookups.
  • Escalate complex concerns to senior PXBPs or PX leadership.
  • Partner with COEs by sharing data, preparing materials, and ensuring consistent communication across PX teams.
  • Support global initiatives by coordinating deliverables and tracking status.
