People & Culture Department The People & Culture (PC) team is responsible for managing the entire employee lifecycle from recruitment through retirement, collaborating closely with various departments such as New Site Development, Construction, Operations, Sales, Finance, Tech & Systems, and Legal to ensure a cohesive and supportive work environment. Our PC team is distinguished by its proactive and strategic approach. Unlike in many organizations where HR functions are limited to administrative oversight, our team members are empowered with the authority and responsibility to drive critical processes directly. This includes talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, and organizational planning. By leveraging in-house expertise, our PC team can align long-term organizational sustainability with innovative HR practices and cost-effective strategies. This alignment ensures that our workforce is engaged, motivated, and equipped to contribute to the company's success. Position Overview This role will be based in Denver, Colorado. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented People & Culture Intern to join our People & Culture team. This internship provides a valuable opportunity for a student or recent graduate to gain practical experience in various human resources functions, including employee engagement, payroll & benefits, workforce planning and HR operations. The People & Culture Intern will work closely with our PC team, assisting with day-to-day activities and contributing to a wide range of projects. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn about HR processes and is excited to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
