About The Position

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented People & Culture Coordinator to support and execute key People Operations, payroll, and office operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in structured environments, takes pride in getting the details right, and operates with a strong sense of ownership. You will play a critical role in ensuring payroll is executed accurately, employee data is well managed, and the day-to-day employee experience runs seamlessly. This role requires someone who can balance precision with pace, prioritize what matters most, and proactively improve how work gets done. We do our best work together. AV operates as a 5-day-a-week, in-office culture where collaboration, mentorship, and shared momentum matter.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in office administration, People Operations, payroll, or similar operational roles
  • Experience supporting payroll processing, benefits administration and related systems (HRIS, payroll, or benefits platforms)
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy with financial and employee data
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple workstreams in fast-paced, evolving environments
  • Communicates clearly and collaborates well across teams
  • Takes ownership, follows through, and operates with a strong sense of accountability
  • Actively looks for ways to improve processes, reduce manual work, and increase efficiency
  • Leverages AI tools and automation to streamline workflows and enhance outcomes
  • Analytical and solutions-oriented, with sound judgment
  • Demonstrates a continuous learning mindset and openness to feedback

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end execution of bi-weekly U.S. payroll and monthly international payroll with a high bar for accuracy and timeliness
  • Collect, review, and validate timekeeping data and payroll inputs, ensuring issues are identified and resolved proactively
  • Partner with the PEO to manage payroll processing, benefits administration, and related inquiries
  • Reconcile monthly benefits invoices and flag discrepancies, ensuring clean and accurate reporting
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data, holding a high standard for data integrity
  • Own and maintain employee data across systems, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and consistency
  • Support core People Operations processes and initiatives with strong follow-through and attention to detail
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, streamline, and improve existing workflows
  • Own day-to-day office operations to ensure a high-functioning, well-supported environment
  • Manage vendors, supplies, and logistics with a focus on efficiency and quality
  • Support planning and execution of team events and internal gatherings
  • Coordinate scheduling, vendors, and logistics to deliver a smooth and well-organized experience
