About The Position

The People Analytics Team at Datadog uses data to help our growing organization make better people decisions. As a People Analyst, you’ll partner with People and business leadership to deliver analyses, dashboards, and insights that shape how we hire, develop, retain, and support Datadogs across the world. Requirements

  • 2–5+ years of experience in people analytics, business analytics, or a related quantitative role
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL and Google Sheets, and experience working with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Metabase, Looker)
  • Familiarity with people systems and data sources (e.g., ATS, HRIS, LMS, Survey Platforms), as well as metrics throughout the employee lifecycle
  • Strong communicator able to distill complex data into compelling insights for business and People teams
  • A naturally curious, analytical mindset with a drive to uncover the “why” behind the data
  • Ability to maintain privacy, maturity and discretion while handling sensitive data

Nice To Haves

  • proficiency in Python a plus

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and predict trends, patterns, and drivers of people outcomes such as attrition, career growth, leadership effectiveness, and performance
  • Partner with People Business Partners, Recruiting, and senior leadership to conduct custom, scoped analyses, translating ambiguous business questions into structured analyses to answer priority workforce questions
  • Conduct research studies and analyses to support programmatic decision making and key initiatives across the employee lifecycle
  • Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and recurring metrics readouts (e.g., hiring funnel, performance, movement, retention, sentiment, org design)
  • Maintain high standards of data quality, privacy, and governance when working with sensitive employee information
