DTCC offers a flexible/hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and a third day unique to each team or employee). The Impact you will have in this role: Reporting to the Head of Cyber Security Operations, you are responsible for managing Penetration Testing, Threat Modeling, and Adversary Simulation. As a senior manager, you provide strategic leadership to your team, empowering and developing first-line managers to carry out your directives. You utilize your subject matter expertise as both a people manager and a cybersecurity expert to enhance DTCC’s security posture. As a senior member of Cyber Security Operations, you may be tasked with responding to cyber threats outside of normal work hours.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Have at least six years previous hands-on technical experience in cyber security penetration testing, adversary simulation, and/or other relevant technical cyber security experience and at least three years previous experience as a people manager.
  • Have experience managing multiple high-profile and time-sensitive initiatives simultaneously.
  • Have a balance between people leadership and up-to-date relevant technical knowledge.
  • Demonstrate adaptability, a growth mindset, and superior collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrate effective tactical leadership of teams to accomplish technical tasks and projects.
  • Demonstrate effective strategic leadership by setting quality goals, developing plans of actions, assigning tasks, measuring progress, motivating team members, and communicating updates to collaborators.

Responsibilities

  • Be accountable for the Offensive teams’ day-to-day and strategic performance.
  • Model appropriate behavior, attitude, and tone for your team.
  • Align the team’s mission with internal goals, regulatory requirements, and industry guidelines.
  • Effectively delegate tasks, empower team members, and remove impediments to accomplish the mission and objectives.
  • Set and achieve high-quality goals and objectives for the team and work with managers to develop comprehensive individual goals that align with team goals.
  • Attract and retain high-quality team members that match the team’s mission and objectives.
  • Evaluate, train, mentor, and develop your team members to make them as successful as possible at DTCC.
  • Apply metrics, feedback from team leaders, feedback from collaborators, threat intelligence, and industry guidelines to continuously evaluate and improve security posture.
  • Develop key metrics and communicate progress to collaborators, senior leadership, regulators, and auditors.
  • Work with leaders throughout the company to support Cyber Security & Resiliency and continuously improve security posture at the firm.
  • Identify and proactively partner with key collaborators to understand needs and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Create messaging, socialize team programs, represent Cyber Security Operations, and evangelize security at DTCC.
  • Regularly travel to conferences, training, and other DTCC offices (up to 30%).
