Requirements

Must have a current driver's license with an insurable driving record
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, including THC
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience operating mechanical equipment preferred
Basic math skills required
Ability to make decisions independently within established operating guidelines
Must comply with all safety regulations and follow administrative and operational procedures
Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities

Responsibilities

Perform diversified loading for shipment of specialized product orders
Lift and stack 50-pound fertilizer bags repetitively
Maintain timely and accurate product loading schedules
Operate mobile equipment, conveyors, and other assigned machinery
Use basic math to calculate accurate inventories and adjust products and chemicals
Read and write accurate logbook information as necessary
Coordinate activities with other personnel performing related functions and assist as needed
Recognize the need for repair work and perform it independently within ability and time limitations, or initiate work requests
Identify abnormal equipment operations and take corrective action according to general instructions
Suggest improvements to maximize productivity, efficiency, and environmental performance
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Maintain emergency response readiness
Perform other duties as assigned
