The Learning Center at Lincoln Land Community College is seeking motivated and supportive students to join our team as Peer Tutors! Peer Tutors provide one-on-one and small group academic support to fellow LLCC students across a variety of courses. Peer Tutors play a vital role in helping The Learning Center foster a welcoming and supportive environment that empowers students to seek academic support and develop as confident, independent learners. Peer Tutors will be paid $1 above minimum wage and will be scheduled to work up to 20 hours per week. Peer Tutors may have the opportunity to supplement their work hours by working in other areas of the Learning Center. Note that, with exception of Peer Tutor, the hourly rate for working in The Learning Center is minimum wage. If you are interested, the Tutoring Coordinator will discuss this opportunity with you during your interview. All LLCC Student Workers have the following institutional responsibilities: Uphold LLCC's mission, as well as certain standards of conduct within the College and in dealings with students, staff, faculty and the general public. Responsible for compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and other regulations with regard to confidentiality of and access to student and other institutional records.
