LOCATION: Dublin, GA (in-person); Quentin's Place The Community Service Board of Middle Georgia (CSBMG) is seeking dedicated professionals to join our team at our new state-of-the-art Behavioral Health Crisis Center (BHCC). This facility provides critical support and stabilization services for individuals experiencing behavioral health crises in a safe, structured environment. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Valid Georgia Driver’s License
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Office applications
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Experience with having a mental health diagnosis, behavioral health diagnosis, or addiction recovery OR being a parent to a child with a diagnosis.

Nice To Haves

  • Hold one of the following certifications: CPS-MH, CPS-AD or CARES, CPS-P.

Responsibilities

  • Provide meaningful groups and document specific individual responses to groups held.
  • Provide peer support for crisis service center and individuauls in TO/CSU.
  • Engage individuals by providing activities like puzzles, games, books, and any information that gives insight to disease process. Restock these items as needed.
  • Help ensure group information is updated, accurate, and organized.
  • Document group notes after group completion.
  • Ensure individuals receive meaningful outdoor time.
  • Provide case management services for CSC. Link appropriate resources and documents.
  • Assist with pat down searches as needed.
  • Back up the Case Manager with ROI calls, follow up calls, NSH surveys, SOAP notes, and insurance as needed.
